After 27 years of marriage, Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman have announced their split.

“We are grateful to have had almost three decades of a lovely, loving marriage as husband and wife. We have decided to separate in order to pursue our individual growth as our journey is changing right now, the two said in a statement first revealed to People and corroborated.

” Our family consistently comes first, so we will keep putting them first.

. We approach the following chapter with appreciation, love, and kindness,” they added. ” We deeply value your consideration for and reverence for our privacy as our family transitions to this fresh chapter in our life.”

On the filming of the television show “Corelli” in 1995, Jackman and Furness became friends and later got married. Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18, are the children of the two Australian actors.

Jackman paid homage to Furness in April as they celebrated their most recent wedding anniversary.

At the moment, Jackman posted a message on Instagram saying, “I love you very much. “Together, we have built a lovely family. plus life. Your spirit, generosity, humor, cheekiness, bravery, and dedication to me are a tremendous gift.

“Deb and Hugh Jackman” signed their statement on Friday, which concluded, “This is the only statement either of us will make.”
