The Appalachian Trail is celebrated in the Google Doodle.
The Appalachian Trail is the subject of Monday’s “Google Doodle” from the search engine Google.
Google launched a picture-book doodle in honor of the well-known path that crosses 14 states.
Users can click on the doodle to explore the 2,190-mile-long route from the Google homepage.
According to Google, the Appalachian Trail is the world’s longest hiking-only pathway and has been a popular destination for tourists for almost a century.
The doodle will be visible for one day.
